an island of massive proportions is hidden in the outskirts of the mighty oceans of the earth, but this island is better kept a secret, as it is most certainly not your average piece of land. the island itself is the base of the beginning of equine evolution. equine are brought here through various ways, the newest being normal in all ways except one. traits. with inborn traits, normal equine have the possibility of birthing a new species, known as mythicals. will you help the population of mythicals grow with the ever-expanding evolution? read more.

season;; winter is expected to be harsh this year. snow will fall upon all lands, even the tropics of oceana and inferno. airia will be hit hard with blizzards and freeze-outs. terra will have a mild freeze, while inferno and oceana suffer snow and chilling temperatures compared to their average climate.

klahden is officially open !! there are still some things left to fix, and some things i have yet to get to, but besides those few things, i think the site is ready for the public.
auditions for fates and royalty will begin at 25 members.
the first horses are making their way to the island. very slowly, the island is growing in population. but there are still no fates, and there is still no royalty. which of these new equine will soon rise to the top and take reign over the island?

ROAMING
LA'VIER MEADOWS the claiming grounds la'vier is nothing more than a large meadow, or field, meant for coming and going. trees are scattered about in various areas, but grouped in no more than two or three per area. tiny streams can be found beneath the tall, thin blades of grass that seem to create a soothing enviroment. mares and stallions alike come here to await claim from a lead stallion. it is not required that you go with the stallion that offers to claim you here.

MAISON BLUFF the homeless shelter this patch of trees offers protection from the elements during all seasons, which is perhaps the reason it is known for housing the homeless and herdless. stallions come here with their small band of mares, or collect with other bachelors to live here while they have no land of their own. it is safe and close to the other lands. the food supply is average, and small creeks offer a decent amount of water. however, the area is often busy and populous.

D'AMEN GLADE the breeding grounds d'amen is a very secluded piece of land found deep with the wooded terrain of klahden. it is hardly see with more than a couple or two at a time, and the area is dense with wooded terrain except for the clearing, which is broken up into parts for more security. the land is relatively tiny, for the only purpose it serves is for a place for equine to breed.

DENAISS CREEK the foaling grounds denaiss creek can be found off the outskirts of d'amen glade, which could easily invite the idea that it is very secluded. a large bluff hovers the tiny area, and a creek keeps intruders away for the most part. this is the ideal place for mares to birth their foals, as it is very protected and offers a place where any mare would feel secure with their newborn.
DE'TAI BEACH the battle zone equines often have disputes that need to be settled, and this is usually where it ends up. all fights are faught here, where the beach makes a soft, level place to fight it out. however, it is a gloomy and frightening place, where skeletons can be found partially buried and the stench of blood is thick and harsh. staff will judge all battles. please pm a staff member when your battle is ready for judging, and it will be judged asap.

CIM'TIERE CLIFFS the graveyard cim'tiere is known for its purpose and for no other reason. it homes the read, no matter where they have died on the face of klahden. others drag their bodies here after death, and others come here when they realize their time has come. it is the graveyard of klahden, home to those dead. sometimes, however, the living will venture here and have a chance to speak again to those who have already gone.

JARDIN ESTATES the wandering lands jardin is known for its large, vast area. however, these lands serve no purpose except for mere travel. equine often visit these lands for many reasons, such as to mingle with others. the lands here are free for anyone to roam, but they are unable to be claimed as they do not belong to any certain equine.

RESIDENCES
OCEANA - THE NORTH water fate: _____ || king: _____. queen: _____. a great peninsula stretches from the northern portion of the island, surrounded by water on three of its four sides. water makes up a big part of this land, having creeks and waterfalls scattered in numerous numbers across the area. palm trees make up a majority of the foliage here, and sands are the only source of ground besides the rock that petrudes from the ground in some places. rock walls and beaches set the tone for this beachy landscape. this is oceana, home of the water fate.

INFERNO - THE SOUTH fire fate: _____ || king: _____. queen: _____. inferno is most definitely not the barren wasteland or boneyard some may think it to be. active volcanoes tower high above the island's base, sometimes bleeding out the red hot lava boiling inside them. but their trails never leave inferno, but instead slope down the southern side of the island and straight into the ocean. the rest of the island outside the tiny portion of dried lava is a blend of tropics and rainforest, lush in vegetation and life. it is absolutely beautiful here, despite the constant fear of eruption from its many volcanoes. inferno is home to the fire fate.

TERRA - THE EAST earth fate: _____ || king: _____. queen: _____. terra consists of lush, rolling hills with stalks of grass coming just above any equine's knees. it's enough for foals to get lost in the tall blades of green. the soil here is more than fertile, and it can sustain the grass without question. small streams and creeks weave throughout the meadows and plains, and pools are shadowed with the few trees terra has to offer. for the most part, the plains stretch for miles with flat surface with the exception of a few rolling hills in various places. terra is owned by the earth fate.

AIRIA - THE WEST air fate: _____ || king: _____. queen: _____. mountains cascade from the skies in the glorious land of airia, where snow is vibrant against the island's usual tropic climate. waterfalls can be found falling from the steep cliffs of the mountainsides, as well as hidden caves all about the landscape. the snow, of course, only caps the mountaintops, and trees line the lower portions and bases. mountains of all shapes and sizes can be found in airia, as well as jagged rocks, cliffs, and bluffs. it's beautiful here, but dangerous as well. this is home to the air fate.
